The obvious was shown but without a lot of deep discussions. We see she is tired, anxious and nervous, that is obvious, it's right there in the performance. But something is missing.
The script itself could have been deeper to match the soul bearing performances.
But the actors are just speaking what has been written for them. And a lot of it is just obvious stuff. Exactly what you'd expect.
It's a sad story, gut wrenching actually, but it could have been deeper.
